The Foundation is moving forward in the storm
In my career, I have mainly dedicated myself to two areas: the steel industry and standardization. Fortunately, at different stages, I successively served as the Chairman of the World Steel Association (WSA) and the President of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). These experiences of serving in international organizations have allowed me to appreciate the vastness and diversity of the world.
During my 27 year work at ISO, what impressed me particularly was what I learned from Devico. Due to the differences between developed and underdeveloped countries in the world, billions of people, just like us, have never truly experienced a happy and dignified life throughout their lives.
